We keep every prior version of our legal documents so you can see what changed and when.

1. The two dates on every document

Last reviewed is the date the document was last substantively reviewed for accuracy — not the date the page was published or edited. Effective from is the date that version became legally applicable to you. In practice the two are often the same, but they can differ: a review that confirms no change is needed updates only “Last reviewed”.

2. How versions work

Every document carries a version number and two dates, shown together at the top of the page. The version number identifies the text; the dates say when it was reviewed and from when it applies. A material change increments the first part of the version number (1.0 to 2.0); an editorial fix increments the second (1.0 to 1.1). Previous versions are archived with the dates they applied and a plain-language summary of what changed, and each is also identified by its commit in our source repository.

3. Material changes and editorial fixes

A material change — anything altering substance, rights or obligations — gets a new “Effective from” date and an entry in the change log below. An editorial fix — a typo or formatting correction — updates only “Last reviewed” and does not create a new effective date.

4. Change log

The change log below lists material changes in reverse-chronological order, by date, document and a short summary.

5. How we notify you

Material changes to the Terms of Service and other contract terms are notified to you in accordance with the Terms of Service. Minor corrections are recorded here without separate notice.
